AnnaSophia Robb (born Anna Sophia Robb) is an American model and a singer. She began as a child actor on TV, making her film debut in Because of Winn-Dixie followed by the supporting role of Violet Beauregarde in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The role she played in 2007 in the film as Leslie Burke earned her praise and she was awarded two Young Artist Awards and recognition for her performance. Race to Witch Mountain (2009, Soul Surfer 2011 and The Way Way Back 2013) are her subsequent films. Carrie Bradshaw, the main character on The Carrie Diaries (2013) and 2014 on The CW, was her most notable role. Lacey was Gypsy's next-door neighbors in Hulu's The Act miniseries.
